Gary R. Gropper, M.D. Since coming to Atlanta in 1986, Dr. Gropper has been a recognized leader in the neurosurgical community. He served as the Chairman of the Department of Neuroscience at Piedmont Hospital from 2002 until 2005. Dr. David M. Benglis, Jr., M.D. Dr. Benglis was born and raised in southwestern Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate training with high honors at the University of Texas at Austin earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology and attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
